Who We Are
With 27 years of experience as a nurse and 16 years as a nurse practitioner, Erin has dedicated her career to women's health and improving healthcare access and quality in her community. Passionate about empowering families through better health, she is a fierce advocate for women's health and the nursing profession.
Beyond her clinical work, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she teaches future Family Nurse Practitioners in the School of Nursing. Erin also mentors students and young adults pursuing careers in healthcare. Her research focuses on perimenopause, menopause, sexual dysfunction, HPV, obesity, and overall wellness.
Committed to service, Erin volunteers with the Carteret Health Care Foundation, working to bridge healthcare gaps in her community. She believes in the healing power of meditation, yoga, being near or in water, and walking, embracing holistic wellness in both her personal and professional life.
When she’s not advocating for health, teaching future providers, or conducting research, she finds joy in being with her children, travel, and feeding others!
